I’m baffled… we’re not even using the default webflow form on our client’s site. We use a different system.
Despite this, we are receiving submissions on that default form. The Webflow Site Settings > Forms offers no disable button or delete this form button. Where is the URL that shows where this form is even being shown? Inside the backend there doesn’t appear to even be a page or area where that default form could be?
What is going on here? Why is this process so ludicrious to fix or correct? How difficult is it to have a toggle for disabling an entire form?
Hey Jason, impossible to know without seeing your site.
If you’re getting spam, easy way to eliminate it is to just use custom form handlers like Basin or Formspark, or custom embedded forms- and remove your email from form notifications.
Also double check the site isn’t using Webflow forms for other purposes like filtering with Finsweet Attributes or similar. If not setup correctly, interactions will submit the form via Webflow.
Another method to source form info is via Webflow’s API. Check out [List Forms endpoint] in the developer docs. (List Forms — Webflow API Documentation)
I do agree, the info would be very hand if accessible under Site Settings.
