Is there any way you can change something on the desktop without it affecting something on mobile?

If you work from desktop to mobile while designing… I don’t think things affect…
You couldl also duplicate elements that you want to be shown different on desktop, or mobile.
What I would like to do is be able to work on the desktop without it affecting more beer or vice versa pretty much freezing the individual options…
