I deleted an unpublished project where I was using a paid template and it seems I need to buy that template again to re-use. Is there a way I can use that template without paying for it again?

You can navigate to Dashboard and click the New Site button. On the new page you should have a Purchased Templates section. Select the template and you will get a prompt asking you if this is for the same project or a new one. Click the first option and you should be ready to go.
