Date text from collection changes position

I have a Collection List which is sorted by Newest Updated On date, and limited to 1.

I want to display text of that date but when I try, the text element shifts the the top/left corner of the page. If I change the text source to a different field like “Name” the position goes back to being correct.

Does anyone have a solution?
