Custom Media Query not Working

I want to change the font size for my H1 between a specific set of screen widths. I have added a media query to the site’s head code. However, instead of working, it is just showing the code as plain text at the top of my site.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@vonBurske - CSS styles need to be placed within a style block in order to render within HTML.
