Using Webflow for my Blog.
I have a Post Body field and in that field I’ve added some Custom HTML
When I export the post, the Post Body field doesn’t contain my custom HTML, it literally just contains <div></div>
Does this mean that Custom HTML inside a CMS field is not exportable?
Yes and I see this as a serious shortcoming and a gotcha if you are not aware this limitation beforehand.
EDIT: Just to clarify this affects custom code placed inside a rich text field element. Code added to a text field will be exported, you just can’t render it in Webflow layouts without it being encoded (which you can decode with code).
Wow… that’s not good is it.
