Custom Cursor that inverts visuals below - possible in webflow?

I’m trying to achieve something like the custom cursor on this website:

I can create the actual cursor but the inverted colours below it that appear when it hovers over the menu items is giving me a lot of issues! I’ve only been using webflow for a few days so I might just be missing something simple :man_facepalming:
