We are looking to develop a website for a high profile customer, they don’t want to change their payment provider which is Credorax. We would love to implement Webflows Ecommerce functionality for this project but need to find a way of integrate a different payment provider. Would this be possible with custom code and writing into Credorax API, we want to use all the tools from Webflow e-commerce so this would mean that we would want to setup the website exactly the same as how it is now but then when the user buys the product completes payment it goes through to Credorax.
Hope you guys can help as everything from Webflow Is perfect and to be able to implement this would give us the best scope for the project.
While I would love to say yes, you can use a custom API, we currently do not have our ecommerce open to API integration for custom payment processing. I was going to suggest @foxy but when I looked at their support page they do not support the payment system you are suggesting.
Can you tell me where Credorax is from? for what region is it used for?
If it can be connected through one of the many that foxy is setup for then you can certainly go that route as Foxy integrates with Webflow as well. I would reach out to Josh from @foxy and see what they have to say.
Please let me know if you have any other questions,
@Chris.Allen Nice to meet you. As Brandon said, we don’t integrate with Credorax. Unfortunately, we’re not taking on any new gateway integrations right now.
That said, we do integrate with 100+ payment methods: Payment Methods | Foxy.io Noting just in case. Definitely let us know if we can be of assistance.
I did look at your solution, I really like what you guys do and there’s many benefits to what you do with with Webflow but I think even if you had Cradorax on your list of payment providers we are looking at a solution that doesn’t include a transaction fee, as the volume of traffic and price of item, we would lose a significant amount of our profit.
Hi @Chris.Allen.
Thank you for your message. To confirm, for our Standard plan, we only charge a transaction fee (with a cap of 15 cents) on transactions after your first 100 transactions each month.
In most cases, using Foxy and a non-Webflow Ecommerce plan is less expensive than a Webflow Ecommerce plan by itself. Webflow’s Standard Ecommerce plan is $42/mo with a 2% transaction fee, with no cap.
We would be expecting the transactions and turnover to be over the advanced plan, which does make Foxy.io and Webflow both available the merchant needs to be with Credorax. Within the service we are looking for a solid, scalable service that will allow us to design for our needs.
Do you have any plans on adding anymore merchants?
Hi @Chris.Allen.
Thank you for confirming. We’re not doing any new gateway integrations right now, but occasionally we’re open to doing paid integrations. Definitely check in with us in a couple-few months: hello@foxy.io.
Excuse the reply to the old conversation. But I was stating the exact same thing today, regarding the limitations within the Webflow e-commerce. The lack of merchant options. As well as a lack of not having a membership for e-commerce. I’d almost lost a client because of these two options aren’t available. Webflow is an excellent system. I love it. But some of the things that are lacking, are now common. A person who’s selling cloths, should have these two features. Like what you see, when have an account with Amazon or Walmart. Thankfully, “Pixelgeek” posted, “Snipcart” video yesterday. I’d just caught it today. It gives my client all that he needs and then some. Come on Webflow. Catch up.
