Creating transparent holes that show background photo

Hi! Does anyone have any idea how I could make this kind of an effect where the background image is revealed through scrolling? Link to the webpage I want to copy → Wellness Orhidelia - Terme Olimia, Podčetrtek, Slovenia

I’ve tried setting the photo as a background of the body and then inserting some div blocks on top and set them to transparent, however the div blocks inherit the color from their parent section. Any solutions?

You just have to apply background: fixed on the element where you want it. But that element should have width and height applied to it. If it is a block element you can just apply height.
