Creating Email to Link

I’m attempting to create an email to link on my “contact me” page. I’ve created the link (given the mail link block) and given an email and subject but when I click the link, nothing occurs. Also, the “open in a new tab” option isn’t there.

What should I do to allow users to click my email (as a link) and have an email populate to my adress?

when I click the link, nothing occurs

It depends on the user’s local computer. If no default mail client is detected, the browser may decide not to do anything.
