Hi everyone,

I’m wondering with creating static website on webflow. The concept we need to understand to create the website is:

  1. Should we use the CMS collection to enter contents of the pages and then fetch them in the designer? or

  2. Should we directly design the pages and the CMS collection will be automatically created?

Could you please suggest which approach is the best one to create a static website, with a contact form in the contact us page?

For static pages you just build within the designer.
For CMS generated content you use the CMS functionality. So that would be blogs, news etc. but also depends on how you want to be able to manage your website.

Go through the Webflow academy first. You’ll understand the Webflow better.
