I am new to GSAP animation feature. How can we copy GSAP animations from one site to another? With “old” animations it was easy to copy and paste. Am I missing something here?
Hi there,
When copying elements between Webflow sites, it’s important to note that GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) settings don’t automatically transfer. GSAP is a powerful animation library that enables advanced interactions and animations in Webflow. To ensure your copied interactions work properly on the new site, you’ll need to enable GSAP separately by going to Settings > GSAP integration and toggling the GSAP library on.
This is currently the first iteration of GSAP interactions in Webflow, and new features and capabilities are being developed to enhance the functionality.
Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.
You’ll need to manually reapply the GSAP code or timelines on the new project , only the elements copy over, not the animation logic. Had to redo this on a client build; quickest way is to copy your custom code snippets into the new site’s embed or project settings.
Lord, old Interactions were glitchy…new ones are a catastrophe to copy between pages. This doesn’t make any sense guys.
