Connecting a copy of a project to a custom domain

I have a Workspace account and am working on a new version of a website. I duplicated the site that is currently live. I wonder how I can connect the new version to the custom domain of the original site since the copy does not seem to offer this option unless I upgrade the plan.

You cannot add a custom domain until you have a plan on the new site, so if you want to avoid paying for a second partial hosting plan, the process would be;

  • Remove the custom domain from the current live site
  • Move the hosting plan over to the new site
  • Add the custom domain to the new site. I think it should already be considered verified by your account, so it should be an easy add.
