Conditional visibility for forms

Is there any method or workaround for any kind of form element conditional visibility? These days every single form I make and most I use on the web have conditional visibility, there has to be something for this I am missing.

eg:

Select Option:
[ Shirt ] [ Pants ]

if Shirt is chosen
Select Shirt Size:
[ S ] [ M ] [ L ]
