Code Embed on page working but not when adding to page code

Hi Webflowers

I have some custom code to add an indent to the subsequent paras but not the first para. See how the para starting with work ‘Photography’ is not indented.

It works when adding as an on page Code Embed, but not when I add to the page.

I would prefer to add inside head tag so I can apply to to all pages on my site, does anyone know why it is not working?

Edit: It IS working on published site. So should I treat this as a preview bug?

Could be related to browser cache, or code preview.
Here’s what I see in preview mode through the readonly link.
