CMS only works on webflow published project?

I have a custom domain I have to publish to also. Do I lose CMS functionality?

Webflow Hosting is required to utilize both CMS and Ecommerce features, so exported projects won’t have this functionality. That said, you can always further develop on top of an exported website if you want to integrate your own CMS or Ecommerce.

When you connect a custom domain to your project in Webflow, you’re essentially just opting to utilize Webflow Hosting as it’s not possible to add a domain without it.
