I’m using Finsweet’s CMS Nest (v2) on one of my Webflow CMS lists and applied the fs-cmsnest-element="list" and other required attributes correctly. It was working fine initially, but for some reason, it suddenly stopped working after a few days without me making any changes.
I’ve already double-checked all the attributes (parent and child), and everything seems to be set up correctly according to the official documentation. Still, the nested items are no longer showing on the live or staging site.
This is quite urgent for my project.
Can anyone help me figure out what might be causing this?
Webflow’s native Collection lists support nesting with a limit of 2 nested Collection lists per page and 10 nested items per parent item. You can find more details about this in our Collection lists documentation.
If you’re using Finsweet’s CMS Nest tool and your content isn’t displaying properly, first verify you’re within Webflow’s native nesting limits. If the limits aren’t the issue, try troubleshooting by clearing your browser cache and cookies. Sometimes antivirus software, firewalls, or VPN connections can interfere with proper content display, so temporarily disabling these services might help identify the source of the problem.
Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.
Currently, when I hover over each block, the nested items are being visible, if that’s not what you want, you can check if you have any hover animation set for the blocks which might be causing this. Let me know if you mean something else.
