Hi, it seems that with the rollout of the new workflow the default behaviour of the main button-group in a collection item (save/republish/etc.) has changed from automatically closing the current item to just remaining in the current item.
So if you have to change a lot of items in one session - which my clients with almost 3k items in one collection have to - this means a lot of “mouse-hunting” for the tiny arrow at the left side of the items name to get back to the collection item overview.
As the default behaviour before the rollout was “Save and close” in contrary to the new “Just save” I was wondering if anybody finds this new default behaviour as frustrating as I do? I can hardly believe, this really was done intentionally.
Answer from support is, that a change to that is not on the roadmap and they have no info about any user research done in regards to that.
Am I missing a hidden usecase here where this new behaviour makes vastly more sense than the old one?
Thanks for your opinions!
