I’ve spent a couple days building a CMS collection for my portfolio. I’ll admit my layout ideas are a little complicated, and I am using all 60 of those fields. But now, editing a page is impossibly slow. Every hover/click takes 15-20 seconds to register and going between the layout and the CMS back end is just as slow. The pace is completely unsustainable. I’ve cleared cache, closed all other browsers and tabs, used both chrome and firefox, nothing works. I’ve looked around a bit and see that this is not uncommon but I haven’t seen any useful suggestions. Do I just need to use fewer fields?
