CMS Collection Page Lagging and Crashing

Hello! My CMS collections page (“projects template”) has started to lag and crash every time I click on a specific project. The page has been working with no errors for weeks.

I first noticed the problem after I made some of my other static pages responsive. I’m guessing that I may have accidentally altered a class and introduced a bug in that process. I’ve since tried making each section of the CMS page invisible to see if I can pinpoint the problem section, but I’m getting the same error state with just the Body element visible.

After review the styling, I did discover two duplicate classes, but I think I’ve now fixed that issue and cleaned up all unused styles. The page continues to lag and crash with a “Page Unresponsive” warning and the error code: “RESULT_CODE_HUNG” (see screenshots below).

I’ve read some threads that suggest this might be related to conflicts with browser extensions or improper system prefs settings. However, I get the same results in safari and chrome even after turning off all extensions and confirming the graphics accelerator is turned on in the chrome browser sys prefs.

I’m new to Webflow, so I’m starting to run out of troubleshooting ideas. Any help would be much appreciated.

@JCB Are you describing an issue in the designer or a published page?

@webdev I’m seeing this issue in both the designer and the published page.

Loading multiple videos at the same time is killing the browser. Not the approach I would recommend. Use lightboxes where when clicked would play the vimeo video or implement custom code to handle this.

@webdev Thanks for the advice. I will look into lightboxes to see if that solves it. However, I think something else is going on because the portfolio templates were playing smoothly a week ago on both the designer and the published page– even with the vimeo autoloads.
