Clients moving from wordpress to webflow

Hi there,
I’ve got a question concerning clients that use WordPress. When I’ve made their site in WebFlow and am about to connect their domain (with their WordPress site still up), do I have to get them to deactivate their WordPress site, or disconnect their domain from WordPress or something before I publish their NEW weblfow to the web?

Pls help, thanks team

You need to change the dns in the domain manager settings, you dont need to touch the wordpress site.

and about “something before publish” well this could be a pretty wide thread, is up to your agreement with the client, but this can be potentially involve:

• Keyword positioning
• Links in documentations
• Link from collaborations or mentions
• Posts ?
• images

and the list go on and on.

Everything will remain in the wordpress site, the way to access depends of the wordpress hosting
