For some weird reason, I can’t apply interactions to certain classes. When I select a class as a target, the name doesn’t appear and the interaction won’t work. This is driving me nuts at the moment, please help!

To create class-based animations in Webflow, you’ll first need to add a class to your element. Here’s why: animations in Webflow work by transitioning between different class states, so having a class is essential.
To add a class to your element:
- Select the element you want to animate
- In the Style panel (top right), click the selector field
- Type a name for your new class and press Enter
- The “class” option will then become available in the Interactions panel for your animations
