Changing specific items within a collection

Hi there,

My site uses a collection I’ve called “products”. Within that collection there is three items. I want each item to have a slightly different format but it seems that all items in a collection have their formats linked. I understand why that is convenient in a lot of cases but I was wondering if there was a way for me to unlink some of the elements so I can have different formats for each item’s page.

Anyone have any good tips for this?

Can you expand upon this? Are you talking about the styling of an element, a complete section layout, or something else?
