Changing responsive nav sandwich icon to an X once open

Hello,

I’m using a responsive menu at all desktop sizes (the 3 bars/sandwich bar). When the menu is open, I’d like the 3 bars to change to an ‘X’ icon, and I’d also like the text next to the icon (which is currently ‘MENU’) to change to ‘CLOSE’.

What’s the best way about doing this? Any ideas?
