Hi everyone,
My client is doing a rebranding, and will change his domain name.
The website structure will stay exactly the same, only the domain name will change.
I would like to know how to implement 301 redirections for every page.
Like:
Could you please explain me how to implement that?
I know how to redirect pages on the same domain name, like:
However, I’m not sure how to create 301 redirections for 2 different domain names.
Thank you for your help!
Kind regards,
Olivier

Hey @Siton_Systems,
Thank for your message.
I’ve read this part: “To redirect a domain to another one, connect both old and new domains to your project and make the new one the default domain.”
By doing that, I would like to know if:
will be redirected (thanks to a 301 redirection) to:
Could you please confirm this point?
Thank you,
Olivier
Yes. (From “helloworld.com” to “hello.com”)
Add 301 only for this cases:
http://olddomain.com/who-we-are
to:
http://new_omain.com/about-company
/who-we-are
=> /about-company
Webflow will handle the base-url redirection:
You use the same idea if you want this:
www.my-site.com
Redirect to this:
my-site.com
Next steps:
SEO - you find a lot of guides on google - samples:
