Change the standard colors of a template

Hello,

I want to buy a template but first I want to know if I can easily change the standard colors the template uses. I tried change the swatch but it won’t change. It goes back to the standard color every time. Because If I have to change every single color by hand within the whole template that is costing me a lot of time…

Usually, the swatches of templates are Global Colors. (there’s a little triangle on the corner of the swatch). Select an element sporting the color you want to change, see if the color selected is a Global Color, then click Edit on the color swatches panel, then edit the color value, click save. All elements using this Global Color swatch will now reflect the change.
