Change the grid size in designer view

Hi,

is its possible to change the view sizes to 1170 px in the editor view?
I think meanwhile thats a must for such web design tools. Look at apps like blocs http://blocsapp.com/

What you can do is instead of using the container element, craft you own container from a DIV, that is centered and the dimension you want.

As to display the grid you can make you own grid as an image background that you apply temporarily to the Body.

(BTW the editor view is the editor of the CMS. I’m sure you talked about the Designer view right?)

yes i mean the designers view. thanks for your idea. its helpful, but i think for the future not really the solution.
