Can't Select HubSpot Form Submit Button as Click Goal in Webflow Optimize - Button Not Clickable

Hey everyone,

I’m stuck with a tracking issue in Webflow Optimize and hoping someone has found a solution.

The Problem: I’m trying to set up a click goal in Webflow Optimize for a HubSpot form submit button, but I literally cannot select the button in the Optimize interface. When I try to click on the HubSpot form’s submit button to set it as a goal, nothing happens - it’s like the button doesn’t exist for the selector tool.

Setup:

  • HubSpot form integrated via the official HubSpot App in Webflow

  • Trying to create an A/B test with form submission as the conversion goal

  • Using Webflow Optimize’s built-in goal tracking

The Issue in Detail: When I enter the goal selection mode in Webflow Optimize and hover over the HubSpot form submit button, I can’t click/select it. The selector tool seems to ignore the HubSpot form elements completely, probably because they’re rendered dynamically after page load through the HubSpot App.

My Question:

  1. Has anyone found a way to select dynamically loaded HubSpot form elements in Webflow Optimize?

  2. Is there a workaround to manually input a selector for the button if I can’t click it directly?

I really need to track these conversions for our A/B tests. Any help or workarounds would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Did you find a solution, Niklas? We are considering buying Webflow Optimize, but as we also have HubSpot forms, these limitations you’ve experienced are quite concerning.

Hey Jason, I managed it with a link block - positioned it absolute over the button and set pointer-events to none. :crossed_fingers:
