Cannot remove password protection from website

Hi there,

We’re experiencing a bug where we can’t remove the password protection for a Webflow site under our team account. My teammate and I are both experiencing this across Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

It lets you change the toggle, but no “publish your site for your changes to take affect” message comes up and when you publish the password protection toggle reverts back to on.

EDIT: This is occurring on a test site as well, which suggests this isn’t site specific.

The client would like the website live today so this is time-sensitive.

Not in a position to share a read-only link publicly but will do so with a support team member.

You should reach out for support from … Webflow Support.

We have … done that.

We’ve had consistently slow response times from support and this is an urgent issue, so I’m also posting here to hopefully get it resolved faster.
