Hello, we are new in webflow, and new the web world and we would like to know how can we modify our existing web site (done via a developer) with webflow?

The only way to manage your site with Webflow is to actually rebuild it with Webflow. You can’t import code to the platform or outside projects.
My suggestion would be to plan a rebuild of the website with Webflow and from there you will be able to manage the front end, content with the CMS, and pretty much everything else.

thanks a lot, that not great I don’t want to rebuild the all site which was done by exetrnal developer, i just wanted to be able to modify it myself.
Then webflow will not help me…

You will need to determine and use the original platform or “tech stack” that the developer used. For example, it might be built on Wordpress, Wix, Bubble, Squarespace, or something custom.
