Building my own Navbar

Hello! I have been trying to have an image in the background of my navbar and a hamburger menu that should be centered on the image. Apparently, I have to build my own Navbar for it to be possible. When I try to make changes in the preset one, there is an error according to the support. Now, I have tried to build my own, but I’m having trouble building my own hamburger dropdown menu. Does anyone know how to do it?

Can you take a look at this tutorial and see if it helps?

It’s not a hamburger dropdown menu, but the principles are same and instead of a top bar div as the trigger, you can have it be a hamburger menu icon.
