Bug with Images and HiDPI

Hi there,

I have a problem with images. If I upload them, paste them on the website and then click “Image is HiDPI”, everything is ok. But as soon as I go to my dashboard or close the page and then go to the page again, something strange happens:

In the Assets panel, the size 0 x 0 px is displayed in the Asset Settings of the images. In the settings of the inserted image on the page, “Image is HiDPI” is unchecked. Should I now check the box again, the image behaves strangely.

This behavior affects all images except “ImageMhGrafikdesignProfilbild00.jpg”.

I need urgent help.

Thanks a lot in advance…

Does no one have any idea?

Looks like some are fine. The ones with missing size info load at the full size from the CDN. Not sure what the issue is. I recommend that you open a trouble ticket with the Webflow support team.

Hey @webdev! Many thanks! I did create a trouble ticket same day i created this post. Still waiting for an answer.

This is a very serious issue for me. I need to relaunch my own Website and this bug is a big problem for me.

@MHGRAFIKDESIGN - This needs to be handled by Webflow. I confirmed the issue but can’t do anything about fixing it.

@webdev Many thanks! The Webflow support is really bad. A reaction time of several days could be a killer if this would be a client project. :confounded:
Can you tell me how the HTML code for the HiDPI option is looking like? So I can inspect the source code of the website and can check, if this is a bug of the editor only, or if it is a bug of the HiDPI function itself. That would be helpful. Again many thanks, Jeff!

@webdev Could you tell me how the Code looks like? That would be Awesome!

@MHGRAFIKDESIGN - Here is a project I created for you.

Many thanks @webdev! This was helpful. I compared the code and I compared it also with my code. So it seems this is a editor bug only, because so far as I can see the HiDPI function and Responsive Image function is working, because the original image is 3840 px width. And the HTML code is:
