BUG: Webflow doesn't delete text when pressing delete button

For some reason, I often encounter an issue within Webflow’s designer where I can write text, but when I try to use backspace/delete to delete it, it does not delete. Currently running webflow on a Chrome browser.

Seems like a local issue. Maybe try clearing your cache or opening Webflow designer in Incognito mode.

I’ve been having this problem on and off for six months. It’s VERY frustrating, suddenly my delete key does not work in a block of text.
I’m in Chrome.
OS:

I am hitting DELETE but the cursor is just going back as if I hit :arrow_left:
‘Toggle preview’ then removes the entire block of text
