Bug: Background Style not remembered times to times

Hello @brryant, @callmevlad,

I have a recurring bug on webflow I didn’t have time to talk to you about. I’ve reproduced this bug several times so it’s for sure an issue.

When I set up my background with transparency, 1 time out of 3 Webflow doesn’t take it into account. I have to remove the style, publish, and then set it up again, and re-publish again to see it live.

Here’s the screenshots:
• Builder:

you can see the background is present

• Live:

no background !

Hey @Zacchino :slight_smile:

That’s because opacity should be set in CSS as:

-moz-opacity: 0.71;
opacity: 0.71;

That way it will work on all browsers. For some reason opacity in Webflow is only visible in CSS as opacity: 0.71; and nothing else. They must have changed that a little time ago.

Another thing is that the opacity is set to 0.04 on your site ONLY if you hover over the gallery-viewmore-block. For the non-state gallery-viewmore-block you have rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.00);

To clarify…

gallery-viewmore-block {
rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.00); }

gallery-viewmore-block:hover {
rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.04); }

This may be a dumb suggestion, but make sure you refresh your browser (CMD+SHIFT+R) after you publish so you can clear your cache. The old fill color value may be cached.
