Blog swipes to the left on mobile, why?

Hi, I intend to my move my WP and SqSP blogs to Webflow, and so I have created a blog. Looks ok (much more to do) on PC/Mac but on mobile, when I scroll up or down the whole page can disappear, slide to the left, if my finger slides left.
What am I doing wrong?

Page here, if anyone can take a look: https://webflow.com/design/geir-werners-dapper-project

Hi!

Do you mind sharing your site’s read-only link please?

1 - On your site’s dashboard, click the Share icon:

2 - Generate and Copy the link:

3 - Then edit your post here, and paste the link inside.

Aha, will do as soon as I am back on the Mac

But what most probably happen is that you have elements that are moved away from the viewport, or too wide for the viewport (fixed width of some sort) so the site slides.

Solutions (apply both)

  1. make sure there is no element with a fixed width that isn’t either tiny or 100%
  2. if element are moved out because of interaction, apply overflow:hidden on the sections containing them. Don’t put overflow:hidden on the body.

Back to work at the Webflow site. I think I will get it made and be able to move from Squarespace after 12 years - but I fear I will ask a lot in the forum here. =)

We pride ourselves on being a very friendly bunch - so ask away!

@vincent has a wise saying about there being no silly questions…I just can’t remember it right now!

Don’t forget, there’s lots of useful info at university.webflow.com and also the forum search - top right for finding similar issues.
