Best practice for Post Image sizing

Hello!

I am wondering how to place a post image that will not distort, and just fill the frame appropriately. I’ve attached a link to my site - click on “blog” to see where I am working.

There are many ways to ensure that images don’t get distorted.

  1. If you want to use an image element, you’ll have to only use images that have a specific dimension (400x300px or 1200x800px) or the same aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9)…

  2. You can use a background image instead and make sure all images cover the area. In this case, there might be some cropping based on the image dimensions. See here:
