Beginner needs help: Linking a lightbox to a normal Page

Hey there,

im trying to internal link the lightbox section to a normal page, where im able to break my projekt down into details.

If you hit “Kundenergebnisse” within the header you’ll get forwarded to the section im talking about.

I tried putting a div block and link behind the lightbox but i doesn’t work.

How can you fix the issue?

Thank you very much.

Rob

Here is my site Read-Only: Webflow - robertwiebe.de

Hi Robert,

Webflow’s lightbox element is exclusively for displaying images and videos. There isn’t any linking, outside of the internal click handler that invokes the lightbox.

If you’re trying to display HTML content inside of the lightbox you probably want to look at modals, or a 3rd party lightbox solution like Fancybox.

Hey thank you very much.

So in my case, i think the best is to redesign the projekt part?

Greetings from Germany

Perhaps? It depends what you’re trying to build.

If the lightbox won’t achieve what you’re wanting to do with your UX, you’ll need a different approach.

Hey,

yeah, ill need a different approach.

I want to click on the projekt and the get forwarded to a new html site where i can break the project down in further detail.

Thanks

That’s just a link block, not a lightbox.

But looking at your site, I recommend you look into how to use the CMS, collection lists, and collection pages, it would make your build cleaner.

And again, thank you very much!
