Background video transcoded incorrect

Dear community,

we have embedded a background video into our webpage. In order to keep the page small and fast we have transcoded the mp4 video down to 1.7MB. Unfortunately each time we upload this file to Webflow the video is transcoded and the resulting mp4 has 7MB.
Is there a way to disable this behavior?

Try using an adaptive video player to deliver multi-bitrate streams.Lets see it may work for you.
