Background Video autoplay not working on live (works in preview mode)

I have background video component with a mp4 inside, settings set to autoplay

It works when I use preview (the eye icon)
but when I publish to live, it just freezes on first frame & does not play at all.

Whats wrong?

@Stan I have the same problem on my site. When hover a project, it should play an animation.

I checked on multiple browsers but only in safari it works half of it. The right side still stays on pause …
