i am trying to somewhat autogenerate pages from CMS collections and can’t get my head around it and can’t get it working … so maybe somebody here can guide me to a solution. Maybe it’s just not possible.
I have 3 collections: Descriptions, Services and Locations
I want to combine these into 1 Page where all the different combinations get autogenerated trough the CMS.
I want to generate several Pages showing the different combinations of these words
Whenever i ad a new Service, the new pages get created from the CMS.
Create a 4th collection, let’s call it DSLfor now. DSL has three single refs, one to each of your other 3 collections.
Using a spreadsheet, create your permutations, so that you have every possible mix you want. Use the slugs for Descriptions, Location, and Services, and you’ll be able to import that list as CSV into your new DSL collection.
It’s now fully populated.
That collection page will now be the center of your “mix” universe, and it can easily access the content of the associated description, location, and service through the single-ref.
So it seems its not possible within Webflow. I was thinking of syncing via Airtable to get it done.
That sounds like a good plan. It will be easier in Airtable to create those permutations using “link to record” fields. You could even us ‘lookup fields’ to duplicate the data into this new table, then it would be easy to sync all of it using a tool like PowerImporter.
