Auto resize not working. Overlapping

Hi Everyone,
I have been watching all the videos and reading a lot of forums and yet to find myself some help.
I have created the navbar and a slider but when I shrink the desktop view, upto the tablet view, the text start to overlap.
How do I set them so the text and images just shrink in ratio?
