Are Grid lock Icons Missing in Navigator?

Working my way through “Contact Forms” in the Portfolio Course. At this point I can see that the Tutor has a Grid Lock icon clearly seen in his Navigator. Although I too have a Grid Lock in my main window (orange bars), I can see no sign of teh gridlock icon. It’s simply not in the navigator? I therefore am unable to grab things in and out of the grid lock.

Is this by design?

@ZeroZero1 - The designer interface has changed and older videos have not been updated to reflect those changes. If you share a screenshot showing what you are talking about, I might have a minute to show you where that functionality exists now.

Yes, I was aware of changes but unless one knows the specific changes your left blind. I rebuilt it all ands teh second time around the grid has appeared.

I am getting to know the hidden corners. Orange dots, orange text…

Thanks

The presence or absence of a grid lock icon in the navigator or on your screen can vary depending on the specific design or development tools you are using for your portfolio course. Grid lock icons are typically used to indicate that an element or component is locked within a grid system, preventing it from being moved or modified easily.

If you are not seeing a grid lock icon in your navigator or on your screen, it’s possible that the design or development tool you are using may not have that specific feature or may represent it differently. It could also be a matter of different versions of the tool or a different configuration.

To better understand why you are not seeing the grid lock icon or how to work with the grid system in your specific environment, I recommend reaching out to your tutor or the course support team for assistance. They will be able to provide you with guidance and clarification based on the tools and resources used in your portfolio course.

No support team just me. Do you know how to stop the screen gradually scrolling downwards?

Thank you
