Anyone created a Webflow site with a decent Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) + Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) score?

Out of curiosity, has anyone successfully created a large-ish Webflow site, hosted via Webflow, that has achieved a decent Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) / Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) score in Google?

After removing all external scripts, interactions, all images to webp etc I simply can’t get anywhere near a decent score.

I’ve noticed Webflow’s own homepage has a poor score too. I’m confused!

Here is my site Read-Only: Webflow - Fixfire

It’s possible, and I have client sites that pass just fine. Performance is mostly about your choices and technical decisions. Thinking that all this will happen automatically with Webflow is a dream; it won’t. Webflow can’t do it themselves, and tests demonstrate that. I have optimized sites to increase conversions and ranking for over two decades. I have learned hard lessons and developed valuable skills for which I am available for hire.

Just remember that there are limits to what you can do on Webflow since they have made fixed choices that you can only get around if you export the project or go an unsupported route with a reverse proxy, which impacts security and core features.
