Hey guys, a potential client’s sent over this WP template that they really like, but their current site is already built in Webflow so ideally, kind of looking to recreate it in Webflow.
Buuut I have no idea how you’d create the blurred bg effect, and have it respond to the mouse.
Anyone got any ideas?

Hey @rachelmess, yes so that is definitely possible with Webflow, however it is not that easy. So what that hover effect is doing is distorting the image using ThreeJS and Shaders. If you want to recreate the same effect you will have to use a canvas element and apply the same code as the template or something similar. Which is probably a lot of coding. You might find something similar in the Webflow showcase? look for the tags ThreeJS, Shaders, WebGL. Good luck!
