Animating a div sliding into view

Hi! Trying to animate a div that expands when user clicks a button. Idea is the div has 0 height and 100% width, after click it animates to full height and 100% width. Tried animating scale, position etc but nothing works properly.

AS A BONUS, I would like the content of the div that animates in to be a video. So far background video works well but won’t scale properly.

Any help is much appreciated
