Anchor link to home page section from another page doesn't work

Hi, I have a problem.
I try to anchor my link from nvbar to specific section on homepage but it doesn’t work.
I tried

domainname.webflow.io/#sectionname

and I tried also

domainname.webflow.io/home#sectionname

and none works. Could someone tell me what am I doing wrong, please?

so to check it you have to go from home page to one of the projects for instance dimen5ion and then try using nava bar so projects or about me and the you will see what i am getting.

Have you tried domainname.webflow.io#sectionname ?
On your first link, the browser would interpret it as if you wanted to access the page #sectionname (and not the section)

exactly i tried both options, so the one you propose as well and it doesn’t work dunno why…

Oh wait, the anchor link is case sensitive.

OH YES… I just have seen I typed small letters instead of upper. THANKS A LOT for that :smiley:
