An element is the right size in designer but not in preview?

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong… I have been struggling with this the whole day. Basically on all screen sizes except the last two biggest ones, my background animation is too huge but only in preview, not in designer. No matter how I change it in designer, it always stays the same size in preview. Is there anything I can do? Thanks for any tips!
