Already connected Domain

Hello,

I believe I did not populate my DNS settings correctly and therefor have not been able to link my webflow account with my custom google domain.

I wanted to restart this process so deleted the custom domain from my current project in order to restart the DNS customization piece.

However, I am now getting a message that I can not use my custom domain as it is “already linked with a webflow site” - however this is not true as I already unlinked and deleted the site from my project.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’d recommend reaching out to Webflow Support - they’ll be able to assist you with this.

Found the answer, you will have to reverse the transfer of the website, make sure you attached hosting back to the website. Then you will see the domain is still attached to this website. You need to delete it from this website. Take off the hosting and do the transfer again.
