Adobe Typekit API key not recognized in site settings

I have set the Typekit API key in the integration settings page, but under ‘Fonts’ in the site settings I get the message that no API key is set. This worked fine before, and I have not done any changes that I can think of. (I tried to remove the API key, save, and re-enter the key as sugested in a post, but no luck).

The strange thing is that in one of the sites that use Typekit, the correct font is showing on the published site. In other sites the typekit fonts is replaced with default fonts. (the site where the typekit fonts is still showing is not SSL-enabled)

Any clue on whats happening?
