How do I add a different color to text in CMS rich text? A client wants to color a few words, like the word “red” in red font etc… on his blogs. I’m using CMS rich text and I’m blocked with this. Thanks!
The limitations of the Rich text CMS is one of the most frustrating things that Webflow has flat out ignored. Crazy that you can’t do that right?
In order to do this you’ll have to go the https://sweet-text.webflow.io/ route.
I followed their instructions and it didn’t work for me. It looks amazing on their video though. Their tutorial isn’t that clear on the sequential steps to make it work.
Did it work for you?
Yeah, it works great. If you have a read-only I’m happy to give a look to see what you’re missing.

I usually do this on a separate unpublished style sheet page. As long as the style exists somewhere it should work.
And just one other note, the styled text will only display on a published site. In the designer you’ll still only see the
@jmkriz It worked!
I appreciate you taking the time to explain this. This is a life saver.
Does Sweet Text charge for this or this part free?
Here’s how I laid out my style page in case others are wondering:
The SweetText is completely free. Happy to hear it was useful.
